Statement of Faith

What We Believe:

God–There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three Manifestations (the Godhead): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ–Jesus Christ is the son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross that we might be redeemed from our sins, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, where, seated at the right hand of God, He makes intercession for us. He is our High Priest and Advocate.

The Holy Spirit–He is the third member of the Godhead who’s ministry is to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer in all truth. The Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ and is the giver of spiritual gifts to the believer. He is the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit that we experience in the earth.

Man–Man consists of body, soul, and spirit. He was created in the image of God and by God. He fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, acknowledging that Jesus is Lord, can he obtain salvation and spiritual life.

Salvation–All who, in faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation.

Baptism and Communion–Water baptism by full immersion as a personal and public statement of faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. After committing to the Lordship Jesus and accepting Him as personal Savior, as a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life, the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner in partaking in the Lord’s body and His blood.

The Church–The Church is God’s divine instrument for extending His Kingdom in the earth by taking the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the nations to make disciples of all mankind. The Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together as the body of Christ of which He is the head.

The Kingdom of God–The Kingdom of God is where the authority, dominion and lordship of Jesus Christ is exalted as Savior and King.

The Return of Jesus Christ–The literal, physical and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to take authority and rule on the earth.

The Final Judgment–The time at which satan, fallen angels, the beast, the false prophet, death, hell (hades) and those whose name is not in the Lambs book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. And the marriage between the Bride (Church) and the Bridegroom take place.
